Anthony Rivas
I was called by God as a young teen, but I chose to rebel against Him and the church. I became involved with everything that opposed God feeding my flesh for years. With my involvement in drugs, alcohol and the occult, I deeply hurt my family and destroyed my marriage to my first wife.
When I was 24 years old I met and married, Jackie. She took me to The First Baptist Church of Ignacio, Colorado where we met Pastor Jim Powell. On the way home from the evening service I called him at home and asked him to meet us at the church. Pastor Powell welcomed me, sin and all, and there on the front pew of that Baptist church I asked Jesus to be my Lord and Savior. I began to serve Jesus Christ, walk with Him each day, and continue to grow in the knowledge of Him.
Although the path has been a challenge, my wife Jackie and I have had the pleasure of starting No Turning Back Ministries which includes preaching the Word of God, singing for His Glory, and loving people into God's kingdom.

Ever since I could remember I loved to sing and play music. I started playing piano in 1st grade and continued to teach myself as time went on. All through my school years I took music and choir. I played trumpet, clarinet,
saxophone, and various other instruments. I was one of two students that were chosen to play in the Top Of The Nations Honor Band, while in high school. There I played clarinet in front of a large audience with other talented musicians.
I was saved at the age of 13 years old and then fell away as the years passed by. After graduating from high school, I got married and had a beautiful little girl, which I named Amber Lee. Before Amber was a year old, I became a single mother. Two years later God gave me a wonderful man and we married in December of 1990. Shortly after that we started going to church where Anthony received the Lord for the first time, and I recommitted mine.
God has blessed me so much as He has walked with me through my journey. Jesus never left me, He was always watching out for me keeping me safe. Even when I didn't know it, He was there.
